Am I understanding your explanation, <br />7 this is my recollection for how it worked at the <br />8 time that I was on the C/CAG board, is when there's <br />9 a project of the size that you are proposing, that <br />10 every additional AM or PM trip that is -- would be <br />11 generated by this, over trips that otherwise would <br />12 have occurred from the existing uses, you have to <br />, 13 show a mitigation on a approximate one-to-one basis <br />( <br />14 by use of a variety of techniques, some of which <br />15 you've described? Is that a fair statement? <br />16 MR. RIDNER: Exactly. <br />17 COUNCIL MEMBER HARTNETT: And that's a <br />18 very -- that hasn't been highlighted much but <br />19 that's a very significant issue on the traffic <br />20 reduction. And I remember there was great <br />21 discussion at C/CAG when that policy was adopted. <br />22 And there was great care in putting <br />23 together the menu of items that one could utilize <br />24 in order to obtain trip reductions. <br />\ 25 MR.
