REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
comment relative to the question about the 15
percent TDM task that we've been charged with,
clearly we're going to be keeping a very close eye
on what those TDM numbers say. We - - as somebody,
I think correctly stated, kind of the worst case,
the Armageddon scenario, as far as we're concerned,
would be that no future building permits are
issued.
We are highly incentivized to come up with
all sorts of creative solutions in order to make
sure we achieve that 15 percent task and we are
committed to do that as part of the precise
planning conditions of approval.
COUNCIL MEMBER HARTNETT: If I can ask
staff about some of the technical issues.
Earthquake considerations were already
brought up and Mr. Ridner discussed it, but
whatever they propose is subject to City
engineering approval, and I'd like to know whàt the
City engineering process is in connection with
approval of the design as it relates to earthquake.
MR. PASSANISI: Jon Lynch can be able to
answer that question.
MR. LYNCH: Jon Lynch, City engineer.
Actually the question you ask is more properly
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 165
(650) 952-0774
.~-
