REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
1 I - - I don't know how specifically the
I 2 the Development Agreement could be
concerns on
3 responded to tonight. The very nature of this,
4 it's both fixed and flexible, we're talking a 20
5 year period, and the Precise Plan is - - is a more
6 specific planning tool than we - - than we usually
7 use. It's - - it's - - it's a relatively recent use
8 for Redwood City and it's to provide us more
9 guidance and planning than what we've had before.
10 So we have more control rather than less.
11 And within that there's still some flexibility, and
12 the Development Agreement has an interplay with the
13 Precise Plan.
(
14 So I think in terms of details, I think
15 we're -- I, frankly, think we're about where we're
16 going to be in terms of the Precise Plan and the
17 Development Agreement. But if there's specific
18 issues that you want to feel comfortable with, I
19 think, you know, it's appropriate to have you feel
20 comfortable with those before the matter gets to
21 the stage of voting.
22 VICE MAYOR PIERCE: Thank you.
23 COUNCIL MEMBER HOWARD: You want me to say
24 something?
25 MAYOR IRA: It's up to you.
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 211
(650) 952-0774
"'-"
