REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
Next.
That concludes our slide presentation, but
I want to make a couple of other comments: I want
to restate what was said at the Planning Commission
hearing. There are over 400 various conditions
imposed on this project through the Precise Plan
Development Agreement and mitigation monitoring
plan. The project will be developed over ten to 20
years, it would evolve, and both we and the City
will learn as we move ahead with each subsequent
phase.
The second point I wanted to make is we
have been in good faith negotiations with
representatives of the County regarding the
granting of a voluntary avigation easement. We've
made very good progress and I expect we'll reach
agreement on a mutually beneficial agreement very
shortly.
And I know that there will be people here
this evening that will probably request that you
make the granting of an avigation easement a
condition of approval. We would certainly not
support that only because we are in good faith
negotiations with the County at the present time
and we think that would impact our leverage.
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 54
(650) 952-0774
.-
