We have 221 <br /> 11 signatures of people that want you to reject making <br /> 12 changes to the zoning out there and to have this <br /> 13 type of use placed out in the Pete's Harbor area, <br />( <br /> 14 for many of the reasons René White just stated. <br /> 15 Traffic is certainly a concern, water supply is a <br /> 16 concern, shifting housing from the downtown <br /> 17 transportation and shopping. We worked so hard to <br /> 18 get the downtown going, now this project, I see, <br /> 19 will kind of continue Redwood City's tradition <br /> 20 of - - of destroying the downtown with developments <br /> 21 that are being placed in inappropriate places. <br /> 22 The affordable housing component, I <br /> 23 believe, doesn't even have to be on this site, it <br /> 24 can be in any location in town, so I don't believe <br /> 25 that it really helps a lot of the people that need <br /> UCCELLI &' ASSOCIATES 73 <br /> (650) 952-0774 <br /> .- <br />
