CONTE: My name is Kathy Conte, I live <br />5 on Orchard Avenue in Redwood City. And I opposed <br />6 this project development for all the same reasons <br />7 that the previous three speakers did. I won't <br />8 reiterate everything they said, but Redwood City <br />9 approved a master plan not too long ago, and this <br />10 project, from what I've read of it, doesn't fit <br />11 into the master plan at all. There were height <br />12 restrictions, there was an attempt to build along <br />13 existing transportation corridors, and there was an <br />! <br />14 attempt to mitigate traffic by doing that. <br />15 So I - - I like the idea of more housing, <br />16 but I would like to see it built in compliance with <br />17 the mas' t e r plan that the City approved. <br />18 MAYOR IRA: Thank you. <br />19 Gail Leddy and then Rudy Luca. <br />20 And Matt Leddy is giving up,his time to <br />21 Gail so you could have four minutes. <br />22 MS.
