<br /> REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04 <br /> 1 speak on behalf of the Centennial Neighborhood <br />( 2 Association. <br /> 3 Our neighborhood association has serious <br /> 4 concerns that airport noise complaints from <br /> 5 residents of the planned Marina Shores Village <br /> 6 project will result in air traffic being rerouted <br /> 7 over other Redwood City neighborhoods, including <br /> 8 Centennial neighbor and Redwood Shores. <br /> 9 Jan Lamentia, chairperson for the <br /> 10 Centennial Neighborhood Association, submitted <br /> 11 correspondence to Tom Passanisi. She also has <br /> 12 provided council members with a copy of our letter <br /> 13 and a copy of the current San Carlos noise <br />( <br /> 14 abatement procedures. And I can assume that you <br /> 15 received that correspondence and you have the map? <br /> 16 Great. <br /> 17 Centennial neighborhood, if you've looked <br /> 18 at th'e map, is located to the north and south of <br /> 19 the Whipple Avenue, when you look at the noise <br /> 20 abatement map it's the yellow rectangle in the <br /> 21 lower right side. <br /> 22 San Carlos airport ,has designated <br /> 23 Centennial Neighborhood, Redwood Shores, and <br /> 24 certain residential areas in Belmont, Foster City <br />I 25 and San Mateo as extremely noise sensitive areas, <br /> UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 76 <br /> (650) 952-0774 <br /> " <br />
