<br /> <br />Red Morton Community Park Sports Lighting Initial Study <br />City of Redwood City 72 June 2015 <br />Assuming a worst case scenario that the project generates a 115 vehicle parking demand, the existing <br />parking facilities are still capable of servicing this demand. As described above, Lot A, Lot E, and <br />the on-street spaces on Myrtle Street and Madison Avenue combined had at least 117 vacant parking <br />spaces at 7:30 PM, and Lots B to D combined had at least 70 vacant parking spaces at 7:30 PM. It is <br />thus expected that parking would not spill over to neighborhood streets in front of residences. <br /> <br />4.16.2.4 Impacts to Pedestrian, Bicycle, and Transit Facilities <br /> <br />The project would increase the use of a portion of the park during nighttime hours when other areas <br />of the park are currently in use. The existing pedestrian, bicycle, and transit facilities in the area <br />would have adequate capacity to accommodate this inc remental increase. <br /> <br />4.16.3 Conclusion <br /> <br />The proposed project would not result in significant transportation impacts.
