Jean Cloud, 890 Edgewood, member of the Board of the Historic Union Cemetery <br />Association, with fellow members Lisa Christie and John Norton, invited everyone to <br />visit Union Cemetery to see Redwood City history or help in the clean-up. Mrs. Cloud I <br />presented the Council with coffee mugs and a brochure describing Union Cemetery. In <br />response to Council questions, Mike O'Brien, Chairman ofthe Horticultural Committee <br />of the Historic Union Cemetery advised that heritage roses have been planted, and any <br />plants that were in existence before 1930 are acceptable for planting in the Cemetery. Mr. <br />O'Brien added that donations of heritage roses would be greatly appreciated, and he could <br />be reached at (415) 473-9983.
