Councilwoman La Berge reported on the meeting she attended at Canada College to <br /> hear the results of the San Mateo Community College District's study on its surplus <br /> property. Of the three campuses, Canada has the most surplus property, 43 acres, and the <br /> District is considering selling or preferably leasing 25-30 acres of that property to fund <br /> capital improvement projects within the District. Some of that property is within <br /> Redwood City and the Council is very interested in the plans for that area. The three <br /> suggested uses for the property include a nursery school, residential single family homes <br /> and multifamily units. Councilwoman La Berge advised that the last public hearing will <br /> be on March 1, 1995, and will deal with surplus property in Woodside and <br /> unincorporated areas within the County. <br /> B.
