B. John Mooney, 980 Pleasant Hill Road, Redwood City, apologized to the Council for not being able to attend the earlier Interview Session for the Senior Affairs Commission. Mr. Mooney stated that he was asking the Council, again, to establish an audit policy, and fund it properly, to monitor the money the City gives to non-profit organizations. Councilwoman Howard advised she would have Housing Coordinator and CDBG funds administrator Debbi Jones-Thomas, contact Mr. Mooney to provide him with the strict guidelines used by Redwood City to monitor the money given to non-profit organizations. Vic Holbrook, 1007 Jefferson Avenue, thanked Planning Director Patterson and Mayor Gasparini for responding to his concerns regarding plans for his property, and asked City Engineer Luck to provide him with further information. (205) MEMO 4/25/95 D. Dominic Ferrari, 944 Corriente Pointe Drive, Redwood City, member of the committee supporting the school and community center in Redwood Shores, thanked the Council for its unanimous support of the project. Mr. Ferrari stated his 17-member committee was chaired by Krista Crock, and the committee planned to be very proactive in pushing this joint project to completion. Mr. Ferrari asked that a project manager be hired for the project and that the City encourage the Belmont School District not to slow down over the summer vacation. Mr. Ferrari described a survey the committee would soon be distributing and offered to include any questions the City might want answered. Mr. Ferrari said the committee was available to work with the City on any issue, and he could be reached by phone at 917-9911.
