<br /> 1) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> Community Development Director Nelson presented the staff report, and pointed <br /> out on a large map, some of the possible upcoming projects in that department: <br /> Oracle, Farinon, Shores Center, Shopping Center, Westport, Lido, Canada College <br /> properties, Kaiser, Park Chevrolet, Franklin Area, City Hall, Rohm Haas, Mezes <br /> Plaza, Ampex, Main/Middlefield Housing and Rolison Road. <br /> Building Official La Torra described the building permit and plan checking <br /> revenues, fluctuating staffing levels, and Redwood City's leadership in the shared <br /> resources concept. <br /> Council reviewed the goals and objectives, and asked for a smaller rendition of the <br /> map. <br /> MEMO 7/17/95 <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 2) PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES <br /> Public Works Services Director Ingram presented the staff report and described <br /> how lower SBSA fees enabled PWS to lower its budget request this FY from the <br /> 1994/95 FY Budget. Director Ingram described upcoming programs. <br /> Councilman Sanfilipo asked that the downtown lights be cleaned. <br /> MEMO 7/17/95 <br /> Director Ingram described upcoming sewer and water projects and fees.
