Council Members stated they like the department's emphasis on organizational development and strategic planning versus a strictly technical orientation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6) CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT City Clerk Jorgenson presented the staff report and in response to Council questions described the need for volunteer services in her department. - I ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7) CITY ATTORNEY Vice Mayor Hartnett described the contract the City had with Mr. Schricker, the City Attorney, and advised there were no increases requested. Vice Mayor Hartnett advised that the City Attorney takes direction from the Council Legal Advisory Subcommittee. Councilwoman Steinfeld requested more information on the City's legal costs, including costs from each department and outside contracts, and their purpose, and advised she would discuss this matter more fully with the Council Legal Advisory Subcommittee.
