6.1.B. - Page 28 <br /> 7.12 If a manufacturer or supplier chooses not to produce or supply goods and services to meet the scope <br /> of this RFP, such action will be considered sufficient cause to reduce evaluation points. <br /> 7.13 Consideration will be given in the award based on the completion and degree of information <br /> provided regarding available products, equipment, and accessories, as well as, applicable parts of the <br /> Proposer Information and Questionnaire. <br /> 7.14 The fact a manufacturer or supplier chooses not to produce or provide equipment products or <br /> services to meet the intent and scope of this RFP will not be considered sufficient cause to adjudge this <br /> RFP as restrictive. <br /> 7.15 The Proposer is required to have extensive knowledge and at least three(3)years experience with the <br /> related activities surrounding the selling of the equipment, service or related products offered. <br /> 7.16 NJPA reserves the right to accept or reject newly formed companies solely based on information <br /> provided in the proposal and/or its own investigation of the company. <br /> 7.17 Consideration will be given in the proposal evaluation based upon the selection, variety, <br /> technological advances, and demonstrated quality of products submitted, technological advances, and <br /> pricing. The ability of the Proposer to communicate the value of these factors and to demonstrate how the <br /> depth and breadth of their product and service offerings provide NJPA and NJPA Members with a sole <br /> source of responsibility within the scope of this RFP will be positively reviewed. <br /> 7.18 Consideration will also be given to proposals demonstrating technological advances, provide <br /> increased efficiencies, expanded service and other related improvements beyond today's NJPA member's <br /> needs and applicable standards. <br /> 7.19 Strong consideration will be given to a Proposer's past performance, distribution model, and the <br /> demonstration their ability to effectively market and service NJPA Membership nationally. <br /> 7.20 Strong consideration will be given to the best price as it relates to the quality of the product and <br /> service. However,price is ultimately one of the factors taken into consideration in evaluation and award. <br /> 7.21 Evaluation of a Proposer's Responses will take into consideration as a minimum response but not <br /> necessarily limited to the following: <br /> 1. Adherence to all requirements of this RFP as defined by industry standards. <br /> 2. Prior knowledge of and experience with a Proposer in terms of past performance and market <br /> place success. <br /> 3. Capability of meeting or exceeding current and future needs or requirements of NJPA and <br /> NJPA Members. <br /> 4. Evaluation of Proposer's ability to market to and provide service to all NJPA Members <br /> nationally. <br /> 5. Financial condition of the Proposer. <br /> 6. Nature and extent of company data furnished in Proposer's Response. <br /> 7. Quality of products, equipment, and services offered including value added related services. <br /> 8. History of member service to NJPA type customers. <br /> 9. Overall ability to perform sales, solutions and contract support as submitted. <br /> 10. Ability to meet service and warranty needs. <br /> 11. History of meeting shipping and delivery expectations of contracted products/services. <br /> 12. Technology advancements and related provisions. <br /> 13. Ability to market and promote the Contract within current business practices. <br /> 14. Willingness to develop and enter into NJPA Contract and business relations. <br /> 15. Favorable bond rating and applicable industry standard licensing ability. <br /> 25 of 47 <br />
