<br /> Council Members then discussed the effectiveness of the two study session, two regular <br /> Council meetings per month schedule established about six months ago. Councilman <br /> Sanfilipo, candidate for Council, suggested four regular Council meetings and one study <br /> session, and Vice Mayor Hartnett suggested that topics be set in advance and the Council <br /> not have a study session just to keep to a schedule. <br /> CONSENSUS: It was determined by Mayor Gasparini that it was the consensus of the <br /> Council to continue with the current schedule of study sessions, the first and third <br /> Mondays, and regular Council meetings, the 2nd and 4th Mondays, as long as flexibility <br /> was maintained to allow for legislative or other requirements. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 95-233 <br /> Council discussed the recruitment process for Redwood City boards, committees and <br /> commissions. Councilman Sanfilipo, candidate for Council. suggested that the <br /> Chairpersons of each of the boards, committees and commissions hold a community <br /> meeting where they could describe their board, committee or commission and encourage <br /> everyone to join them. <br /> CONSENSUS: It was determined by Mayor Gasparini that it was the consensus of the <br /> Council to discuss recruitment for Redwood City boards, committees and commissions at <br /> the January Council workshop. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 95-234 <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 9.
