Tim Despain, Manager and spokesper¡son for 926 Woodside Road apartment building, advised Council that Taco Bell was not proactive in their response to continuing complaints at this restaurant or others in the area. Mr. Despain advised that since March of this year, four tenants have moved out stating the nuisance from Taco Bell was the main reason for their move. Mr. Despain submitted the petition with 116 signatures and asked for the Taco Bell Use Permit to be revoked. In response to Council questions Mr. Despain advised he had called the Redwood City Police during the time of the video taping. Councilman Greenalch advised that the Council wanted a full police report regarding calls to police and responses during the time of the video taping. Report/Recommendation of Council Personnel Committee (301-08) REPORT: Memorandum from Council Personnel Committee, October 28, 1993 Vice Mayor Claire, Chairman of the Personnel Committee, presented the report and recommendation from the Personnel Committee whose members are Vice Mayor Claire and Councilman Greenalch. Chairman Claire advised that based on the pertinent information available at this time, it was the recommendation of the Committee that Council retain an investigator to "work with and report to the Committee as a confidential fact finder and advisor" regarding the accusations and counter accusations made by Councilman Sanfilipo and Councilwoman Steinfeld. Chairman Claire advised that the Personnel Committee would evaluate the report from the investigator, and report back to Council with the full report and recommendations.
