Removed from the Consent Calendar by Councilwoman La Berge for consideration at this time. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF TASK ORDER NO.2 FOR ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> FOR THE PACIFIC SHORES CENTER PROJECT DRAFT EIR - CERTIFIED EARTH METRICS <br /> (702-02) <br /> Councilwoman La Berge asked for clarification of the staff report's conclusion of significant traffic <br /> problems, unanticipated difficulties and additional costs. City Engineer Luck explained that the <br /> purpose of an Administrative Draft EIR is to identify areas of concern, which, in this case, led to the <br /> decision to ask for more information on relating traffic impacts to mitigation efforts. He advised that <br /> the requested amount was appropriate and not on the high side.
