Trips made on the corridor increased by
up to 219 vehicles in the evening peak hour (Jefferson between Highland and Alameda de las
Pulgas). The largest increase on an alternate route was on Bret Harte (27 additional vehicles, a
65% increase).
The change in traffic volumes between May and October 2015 suggest that there has been
some growth in traffic to and from the I-280 corridor in Redwood City. Some of the change
could be seasonal variations in traffic, some could be due to regional economic growth or it
could be a combination of these and other factors.
