5 | Page

I use the bike lane going uphill from McGarvey and Emerald Hill. Previously, I did not
feel safe doing that.
I am very pleased with the new design. Slower traffic, better access to road and
driveways, plus safe for bicycle traffic.
I live, drive, walk, and park on Farm Hill. I feel much safer doing all of the above. I would
like to see something to prevent bad drivers from driving in the center turn lane (maybe
speed dots on the road?)
Bus – no comments provided
Driving
Hard to get out of my driveway at 7:45am. Getting out of my driveway is very hard in
rush hour.
Would like 2 lanes going up and 1 going down
There is no need for an island on Glennan. You are unable to turn right on Farm Hill
without waiting for the light
If you wanted to make the road safer, then why did you change the lanes from 1 lane, 2
lanes, 1 lane, 2 lanes. That can’t make it safer
Speeds seem to be noticeably lower on the upper section of Farm Hill going downhill at
all times of day
Feel much safer getting in/out of driveway on Jefferson just north of Farm Hill. Thank
you
The concern for Farm Hill/Jefferson lane change is that it will end up like Jefferson
downtown. When Jefferson downtown want to one lane, traffic backed up horribly. Too
many cars for half the lanes! With all of the new residential buildings coming up, more
traffic is a real concern. Traffic Flow!
The road feels much safer. Thank you.
Positive – uphill two lane configuration allowing for cars to pass on Farm Hill between
Lonesome Ave to Eden Bower
Maybe have 2 lanes going up in busy hours or morning and change to 1 lane after the
rush
Go back to 2 lanes each direction! More cars = more problems! Can’t get out/in the
driveway. More road rage
Make it two lanes from Glennan up to 280
Return to 4 lanes and add stop signs
Please return to a 4 lane configuration along the entirety of the improvement project.
The delays and congestion of traffic along the corridor have seemingly outweighed the
benefits from a safety standpoint.
8.A. - Page 48
