13 |  Page <br />  <br /> We also live on this block. Parking on the street is much safer, traffic is slower, and we  <br />feel much safer walking on the sidewalks. Turning left into our driveway is also much  <br />easier. Thanks!  <br /> At east of McGarvey intersection, center turn lane is a great improvement on safety,  <br />especially around PCC. Crossing the street as a pedestrian now is a lot safer on Glennan  <br />and McGarvey, and cycling finally is possible.  <br /> I nearly got rear‐ended tonight coming to this meeting.   <br />o Getting here from Alameda, I turned left on McGarvey drove to Farm Hill, and  <br />waited to turn right on Farm Hill, then “quickly” moved to left turn lane and was  <br />behind cars waiting to turn into the church (honking and swearing, cars  <br />swerving). The left turn lane is small. Why wasn’t an officer and you out there  <br />watching the difficulty and road rage?  <br />Intersection – Farm Hill and West of Jefferson   <br /> Two issues with the change on Farm Hill:  <br />o More road rage from frustrated drivers stuck behind slower cars  <br />o Before, it was easier to turn left to get into the church parking lot. Now, because  <br />of the reduction of lanes, it is a continuous flow of cars and some have to be  <br />aggressive  <br /> Make a sign that looks like this:  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />Intersection – Farm Hill and East of Jefferson   <br /> Replace STOP sign at Emerald Hill with traffic light  <br /> LED streetlights  <br /> Very difficult to make left turn onto Jefferson from Farm Hill at heavy traffic times  <br /> People turning right onto Jefferson frequently use parking lane to turn right often  <br />driving 100ft. then there us a car parked and they have to merge back. Very dangerous.  <br /> At Dover and Jefferson Intersection, add flashing pedestrian crossing  <br />Don’t Speed or You’ll Get This  <br /> Speeding Ticket  <br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <br />8.A. - Page 56
