14 | Page

Jefferson at Farm Hill‐ the single lane provides no alternative to pass slower moving
vehicles or stopped vehicles due to the permanent barrier between the 2 directions of
traffic
At bottom of Poster
I live at 35## Farm Hill, it is much safer and a better area to live in with less traffic that
are speeders. Keep up the hard work
I often am behind someone going 20mph. buses go too slow, traffic backs up. Road rage
happens
I live on this block. We LOVE this new design. It is now safe to get in and out of a car
parked on the street, I have less trouble getting into and out of my driveway. Thank you!
Alicia Jenkins and Esther from Fairview love the new lane configuration. Safer in the long
run. No complaints.
Reinstate 2‐lane traffic west‐bound McGarvey on (up the hill)
We need a right turn lane at Jefferson and Farm Hill. To turn right up Jefferson
Takes multiple traffic lights to get through McGarvey onto Farm Hill. Approximately
5:30pm Monday through Friday. Need a right turn lane there to remove the backup
waiting for the lights
I live in the apartment buildings at 35## Farm Hill. I feel so much safer turning in and out
of my driveway, as well as driving and walking along the whole street. If the turn lane is
removed, I feel I will need to move as the increased traffic has made it so unsafe
without it.
Love the new Farm Hill. Don’t change a thing. Fatter lanes =
Right turn lane Jefferson to Jefferson
Need left turn lanes Farm Hill onto Jefferson up Farm Hill and McGarvey
It is much harder to turn left onto Jefferson from Altamont when all the cars are in one
lane. There are few breaks in traffic 3‐6pm.
Board Title: Farm Hill Blvd Restriping Plan: Dover to Alameda de las Pulgas
Alameda at Jefferson
This merge creates a situation where 2 cars race to the merge or get around buses
before the lane is taken away. This is a hazard and does the opposite of what the project
intended

8.A. - Page 57
