STAFF REPORTS <br /> A. Discussion and recommendation for a Winslow Area Underground Utility District. <br /> REPORT: City Engineer, September 19, 1994 <br /> Senior Civil Engineer Lowell Sue presented the staff report, described the time lines for <br /> underground utility districts, the five (5) alternatives, the County's improvement project, <br /> and the funding mechanisms. In answer to Councilmembers concerns, Mr. Sue advised <br /> that the City has a policy to underground utilities whenever possible, this project had been <br /> included in the CIP budget for FY 1994/95, and City staff would contact TCI Cablevision <br /> for information regarding placement of cable wiring. <br /> MIS: GREENALCH/STEINFELD TO ACCEPT THE RECOMMENDATION OF <br /> STAFF AND APPROVE THE WINSLOW AREA UNDERGROUND DISTRICT AS <br /> THE CITY'S NO.1 PRIORITY FOR THE CONVERSION OF OVERHEAD <br /> UTILITIES <br /> CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 94-209 <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> B. Discussion and recommendation for a Davies/Park Chevrolet Specific Plan (The Public <br /> Hearing on this issue was held and closed during the Council Meeting of August 1, 1994) <br /> (1401-20) <br /> REPORT: Planning Director, September 26, 1994 <br /> Planning Director Patterson presented the staff report and reviewed the three <br /> alternatives: upgrading the existing auto dealership; constructing a new auto dealership; <br /> and removing the auto dealership and developing the site as retail.
