Oakwood Drive-Dumbarton Avenue/EI Camino Real <br /> • All counts will be collected on a Tuesday or Thursday when school (Sequoia <br /> High School) is in session. <br /> • Queuing surveys at three (3) key study intersections, to be determined in <br /> cooperation with City staff. <br /> Field Reconnaissance. Sub-Consultant-3 will conduct peak period observation of <br /> traffic operations along the study area including queuing at the study intersections, <br /> parking activity, and pedestrian and bicycle activity on and across EI Camino Real. <br /> Appropriate notes and photos will be recorded. <br /> Vehlcle Tra�c Operatfons Analysls <br /> Collision History. Collision history for the study area will be reviewed for the most <br /> recent five (5) year period available using Crossroads software and/or data available <br /> from City. Collision rates will be calculated and compared to statewide averages for <br /> similarly controlled intersections. <br /> Intersection LOS. The existing vehicle tra�c conditions within the study area will be <br /> determined and described based� on the site evaluation of physical conditions and a <br /> review of the existing intersection operating conditions. Presentation of these conditions <br /> wilf consist of a Level of Service summary table, queuing conditions, a �gure showing <br /> peak hour volume data collected, lane geometrics and controls, and text describing <br /> these conditions and any other operational or safety issues. <br /> Future Conditions. Future traffic volumes will be developed based on traffic modeling <br /> projections available from the C/CAG traffic model. Future operating conditions will be <br /> determined using these traffic volumes. <br /> Deliverable: Synchro model for the corridor <br /> Pedestrian Ana/ysis <br /> An inventory of existing pedestrian facilities along EI Camino Real will be completed <br /> including marlced crosswalk locations, crosswalk controls and enhancements, areas of <br /> pedestrian crossing demand, and sidewalk gaps. <br /> Bicycle Facilifies <br /> An inventory of existing bicycle facilities along EI Camino Real will be surveyed for the <br /> corridor. Bike lane gaps within the study area will be noted. Parallel bike routes will be <br /> identi�ed and their status noted as either existing or planned.
