City Manager Everett and the Council discussed scheduled dates for Budget <br /> Review Sessions and decided to maintain the current schedule: June 15th, <br /> June 22nd, and June 29th, to be held in the Main Library Community Room. <br /> MEMO 5/12/92 <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> C. Council Members reported they had been told by employees of the AT&T <br /> switching center in Redwood City that AT&T was planning to layoff most of <br /> the employees and maintain the center through electronic voice system. Some <br /> of the employees asked Council to review the Use Permit issued for that <br /> property and see what is authorized. Council Members discussed the impacts <br /> on the employees and asked staff to research the subject. <br /> City Manager Everett advised staff would look into this situation and report <br /> back to Council with information on two issues: people and land use. <br /> MEMO 5/12/92 <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> D. Councilman Bury reported on the Awards Luncheon for the Interservice <br /> Coordinating Council held today with Mayor La Berge and Ruben Barrales <br /> presiding, and thanked every volunteer and association for their fine work. <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> E. Mayor La Berge described the outstanding awards program for Kennedy Middle <br /> School honor students she attended at the Circle Star Theatre on May 7, <br /> 1992 and encouraged other schools to adopt similar programs. <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 7. BOARD, COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> A.
