11. Ava's Bridge <br />A. SSA will research, coordinate, and finalize a value engineered solution for the bridge that could <br />save budget dollars. <br />12. Existing Conditions / Demolition <br />A. SSA will develop solutions on how to direct the Contractor to handle memorial items (benches, <br />plaques) and incorporate detailed direction into plans and specs. On 12/11/17, the City directed <br />SSA to remove this from the plans for the memorial bench near Valota; this would be removed <br />by City staff. <br />B. SSA will identify all items to be turned over to the City— irrigation, play components. <br />C. SSA will provide on-going utility investigation research during the months of November and <br />December. <br />D. SSA will attend additional site visit and coordination time with JET, Engineering, Parks, and <br />design team during the months of November and December. <br />E. SSA will assist the city and collaborate requests for bids for additional investigations. <br />13. Contaminated Soils <br />A. SSA will review all documents provided by the City with regards to on-site contaminated soil, <br />consult with CM and testing agencies from sports field project, and will provide coordination, <br />opinion and recommendation. <br />B. SSA will facilitate (1) conference call with the Geotechnical Engineer and (1) with the City <br />Engineer to resolve. <br />14. Custom Detailing <br />A. SSA will provide a City requested custom trash receptacle. <br />B. The City requested a custom BBQ; SSA will complete this design and coordination work with the <br />manufacturer. <br />C. SSA will design a custom bench forthe project in the style requested by the City. <br />D. A perimeter fence was selected by the City to match the existing skate park. SSA will research <br />alternative systems, alternative colors, and their associated cost implications. SSA will provide <br />coordination through phone calls, emails, and research time. <br />E. Develop safety surfacing detailing that is the result of lessons learned from Magical Bridge Palo <br />Alto. SSA will develop revised details for the safety surfacing that was to be provided by Magical <br />Bridge <br />15. Preparing Bid Alternates for Bidding <br />A. SSA will develop a list and associated costs for bid alternates to bring a base bid project into <br />budget. <br />B. SSA will prepare and create the documents, drawings and specifications for the bid alternates. <br />C. SSA will coordinate with the City during the preparation of the Bid Alternate Schedule. <br />16. PG&E Project <br />A. Technical specification preparation <br />B.
