In the event that current <br /> levels of development activity continue longer than anticipated, permanent staffing <br /> needs may be re-evaluated. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> Do not authorize the execution of Amendment Number 3 to the Neal Martin & <br /> Associates, Inc. agreement. This will reduce customer service levels and extend <br /> timelines for Planning Division review of major projects. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> Approximately 20% of the cost for the Contract Senior Planner (approximately $80,800) <br /> would be funded through the General Fund. However, salary savings as a result from <br /> recent staff vacancies in the Community Development Department, (approximately <br /> $70,000) would reduce the impact to the General Fund for Fiscal Year 2015-2016.
