Fire and Safety <br /> 60. Relevant Safety Codes — The project shall comply with all applicable Building, Fire <br /> and Safety codes. [SDR][BUILDING] <br /> 61. Police Radios — Antennae or repeaters shall be installed inside the parking levels to <br /> ensure there are no "dead zones" with regard to police hand held radios. <br /> [COA][POLICE] <br /> Construction-Related Activities <br /> 62. Sales Tax — Applicant shall register with the Board of Equalization to create and ID for <br /> the purposes of allocating sales tax from project construction and operations to <br /> Redwood City. Registration shall occur prior to submittal of first project-related building <br /> permit. [COA][FINANCE] <br /> 63. Hours of Construction — Construction activity is permitted between 7:00 a.m. and <br /> 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except as permitted on weekends by the Building <br /> Official, and shall adhere to the City's Noise Ordinance. If possible, the noisiest <br /> construction activities would be scheduled for daytime hours when the ambient noise <br /> levels are highest. (SDR][BUILDING] <br /> 64. Pre-Meeting for Construction — After City permits are approved, but prior to start of <br /> construction, the applicant shall hold a preconstruction conference with Engineering <br /> staff and other interested parties. The developer shall arrange for the attendance of <br /> the construction manager, contractor, and all subcontractors who are responsible for <br /> grading and erosion and sedimentation protection controls. Construction Material in the Right-of-Way — Construction parking, material storage, <br /> equipment, or other construction-related uses are not allowed within the City right of <br /> way without prior approval from the City Engineer. Prior to encroachment permit <br /> issuance, the applicant shall submit a construction parking management plan, which <br /> shall outline the number of construction workers by phase, phase duration, where <br /> parking will be located for each phase. Construction & Traffic Control Plan — The applicant shall submit a Construction <br /> Traffic Routing and Parking Plan for review and approval prior to the issuance of <br /> permits. The plan shall ensure that adequate emergency access is maintained during <br /> construction. Traffic control for lane closures shall conform to the Work Area Traffic <br /> Control Handbook. Street closures require submission of traffic control plans and <br /> approval in advance. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> 67. Lane Closures — Traffic control for lane closures shall conform to the Work Area <br /> Traffic Control Handbook; street closures require prior submission of traffic control <br /> plans to be approved in advance.
