Test all modes of payment to ensure all configurations are correct before deploying the unit <br /> IPS will ensure that pay stations are installed correctly, functioning properly, and are approved by the <br /> appropriate City personnel. Installation will take place during business hours or as requested by the City. <br /> C. Provide those responsible for related work with: <br /> 1. Installation diagrams, details and templates for setting mounted equipment. <br /> 2. Templates and cast-in inserts to anchor freestanding equipment to curbs and bases. <br /> 3. Communication protocol or interface requirements for integration. <br /> IPS complies. IPS will provide all required installation diagrams, mounting instructions, and relevant <br /> information to those responsible. <br /> D. Shop Drawings shall include: <br /> 1. Dimensioned drawings showing plans, elevations, sections and large-scale details indicating <br /> coordination and relationships with other construction. <br /> IPS will comply. <br /> 2. Product literature for each component or product. <br /> IPS complies. Please see the Appendix for product brochures. <br /> 3. Detailed information about web based CMS software including: <br /> a. Communication protocol, polling procedures and transaction message flow from peripheral devices <br /> to and through CMS <br /> b. Communication failure/error identification and recovery <br /> c. Fault tolerance <br /> d. Back-up procedures <br /> e. Data storage and retrieval <br /> IPS complies. The server system is housed in an earthquake proof colocation facility which provides <br /> redundant AC power, cooling, and internet. The server system is based on VMWare 5.0 and runs on multiple <br /> hosts. IPS uses redundant storage area network (SAN) for reliable data housing. The system and network are <br /> designed to allow single components to fail, while continuing to ensure up-time. <br /> E. Samples: Submit samples and specifications of cabinet/paint finishes, customer receipts, standard <br /> reports, MSM signage, and other elements to be selected by City within six weeks after notice to <br /> proceed. Approval/selections will be returned to Consultant within 10 days of submittal. <br /> IPS will comply. <br /> F. Operating Documentation: Prior to initiation of field test and training, Consultant shall deliver <br /> operations manuals, maintenance and administration manuals in number as specified below. Manuals <br /> may be combined as long as it includes all the topics specified for each usage, Generic manuals <br /> covering a range of products are not acceptable. <br /> IPS will comply. Furthermore, user manuals may be downloaded at any time from the DMS. <br /> 1. Supervisor Manual - Manual is designed for Supervisor or authorized individual for day-to- day <br /> operation of the MSMS, handheld devices, and online CMS. It shall explain all features and functions <br /> (e.g., log-on/off, monitor, sort, prepare and print standard and ad hoc reports) required for day-to-day <br /> management.
