IPS will comply. <br /> D. Provide equipment incorporating features which minimize maintenance and meet the following <br /> requirements: <br /> 1. Provide for ease of performance verification and failure detection while minimizing effort required <br /> for adjustment. <br /> IPS complies. In the event of a pay station fault, an alert will be triggered in the DMS and an email or text <br /> will be sent to the relevant staff member notifying them of the type of fault, the time and the meter location. <br /> 2. Provide unobstructed access to equipment components. <br /> IPS complies. The MS 1 features plug-and-play components that are easily accessible. Blue LED lighting <br /> provides additional lighting for the service technician. <br /> 3. Minimize requirements for special tools and test equipment. <br /> IPS complies. The MS I was designed to be serviced without the need for special tools or equipment. <br /> 4. Provide for easy removal and replacement of components. <br /> IPS complies. <br /> E. Provide system and components that have a minimum service life of ten years and specify periodic <br /> maintenance requirements in maintenance manual to meet that life expectancy. <br /> IPS complies. Maintenance manuals for the MS1 and other IPS products are available through the DMS or <br /> upon request. <br /> F. Consultant shall be responsible for all system and subsystem data communication and ensure that <br /> communications are properly received and sent by all Central Management System computers and <br /> peripheral devices. <br /> IPS complies. The DMS is a vendor hosted system with uptimes in excess of 99%. <br /> 6. System shall incorporate equipment of proven reliability that can be documented from similarly <br /> sized installations that provide features and performance comparable to that required herein. <br /> IPS complies. IPS has more than 160,000 parking devices deployed throughout North America and a proven <br /> track record of successfully implementing large-scale deployments. <br /> 3.4 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br /> A. Consultant shall: <br /> 1. Assume care, custody and control of all MSM equipment and components. <br /> IPS will comply. <br /> 2. Replace damaged materials at no cost to City. <br /> IPS will comply. <br /> 3. Deliver equipment to site packaged to prevent damage and marked for easy identification. <br /> IPS will comply. <br /> 4.
