the contract, the City, at its sole discretion, may add or delete other streets <br />or portions of streets to existing routes at the agreed contract rate. <br />b. Basic Street Sweepina. — This is the minimum level of street sweeping the <br />Contractor must provide at all times. Contractor will sweep all residential <br />street sweeping routes in the City once a month, following the City's <br />established routes and schedule. For 5 -week months when all regularly <br />scheduled sweeping is completed in 4 weeks, City staff will alert <br />Contractor with routes to sweep during the remaining week. This work is a <br />part of basic street sweeping and will not be considered an unscheduled <br />or emergency service. <br />c. Leaf Season Sweepina. — Upon City's written request, Contractor will <br />increase residential street sweeping frequency to once a week sweeping <br />for all residential routes during the leaf season. Sweeping will follow the <br />City's established sweeping schedule and will not conflict with solid waste <br />collection days. <br />d. Enhanced Street Sweepino — Upon City's written request, Contractor will <br />enhance street sweeping services to twice a month sweeping of all <br />residential street sweeping routes in the City and sweeping of all <br />commercial street sweeping routes in the City. Street sweeping for <br />residential and commercial routes will follow the City's established routes <br />and schedule. For 5 -week months when all regularly scheduled sweeping <br />is completed in 4 weeks, City staff will alert Contractor with routes to <br />sweep during the remaining week. This work is a part of enhanced street <br />sweeping and will not be considered an unscheduled or emergency <br />service. <br />e. Days and Hours of Operation - Scheduled sweeping service shall be <br />Tuesday through Friday of every week, excluding City holidays. Sweeping <br />of residential neighborhood routes shall begin no earlier than 7:30 am and <br />end no later than 3:30 pm. Commercial routes shall be swept between <br />4:00 am and 7:00 am. Routes with parking enforcement shall be swept <br />according to the posted times. <br />Dump Locations - Contractor shall dump street debris at the City's three <br />(3) designated dump locations. <br />• Municipal Corporation Yard, 1400 Broadway St. Redwood City, CA <br />• Shoreway Transfer Station, 225 Shoreway Rd. San Carlos, CA <br />• Stulsaft Park Dump Site, at the end of Recreation Way (only as <br />directed during leaf collection season) <br />g. Citv Holidays - There shall be no sweeping on City observed holidays.
