Assessment of City Programs, Policies, Services, and Facilities to comply <br /> with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1913 and the Americans with <br /> Disabilities Act. (302-21) <br /> REPORT: SECTION 504 SELF EVALUATION COMMITTEE, REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> FEBRUARY, 1993 <br /> INFORMATIONAL REPORT, FEBRUARY 19, 1993 <br /> Section 504 Coordinator Debbi Jones-Thomas provided background regarding the <br /> Rehabilitation Act of 1913 which was amended in 1988 to include Section 504, <br /> requiring public agencies with more than 15 employees who receive federal <br /> funds, to conduct a self assessment and adopt a Transition Plan outlining <br /> physical barriers to be removed.
