Lalo told the <br /> Council he chose the main Library (the old firehouse) as his favorite <br /> historic building and that he spends a great deal of time there. <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> B. Proclamation proclaiming May 15, 1993, "National Letter Carrier's Food Drive <br /> Day" in Redwood City (301-04) <br /> Mayor Buchan read the proclamation and presented it to Susan Williams, <br /> Second Harvest Food Bank Branch Manager, who thanked the Council and <br /> encouraged everyone to help the hungry by leaving non-perishable food near <br /> their mailbox for letter carriers to pick-up and deliver. <br /> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 4. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS <br /> NONE <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 5. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. CONTINUED OPEN PUBLIC HEARING FROM APRIL 26, 1993 to consider revised <br /> sewerage service rates reflecting increases in costs of service and a <br /> recodification of Chapter 21 of the Code of the City of Redwood City to <br /> include amendments to the rules and regulations governing the use of the <br /> City's sewerage facilities.
