Introduction of newly appointed Redwood City Fire Chief Anthony Fink <br /> City Manager Everett thanked Fire Marshall Louis Vella for an outstanding <br /> job as Acting Fire Chief for the last five months and his help and support <br /> in the recruitment for a new fire chief for Redwood City. <br /> City Manager Everett introduced Fire Chief Anthony Fink to the Council and <br /> audience and described the welcoming ceremony for Chief Fink earlier in the <br /> day at Fire Station No.9; Chief Fink's background; his family of <br /> firefighters; and his respect for tradition blended with a plan for the <br /> future. The Council welcomed Chief Fink who described his enthusiasm for <br /> the City and its well respected fire department. <br /> B.
