Residential Energy <br />Efficiency (Energy <br />Upgrade Program) <br />- Partnered with Vote Solar and 12 cities to incentivize <br />homeowners to go solar with Peninsula SunShares, a branded <br />solar bulk purchase program <br />- Partnered with PG&E and Empower Efficiency to launch “Step <br />Up and Power Down,” a residential energy efficiency program <br />- Participated in the Cool California Challenge and won funding <br />for City sustainability initiatives <br />- Brought two additional PACE financing programs to Council <br /> <br />11. Green Business <br />Program <br />- Certified 7 Redwood City businesses in 2015 <br />12. Smart Growth - Continued infill, transit-oriented, and mixed-use development <br />per General Plan and Downtown Precise Plan <br />13.
