It is with extreme pleasure that I am informed of your action in naming a street after me. The years of association with your oody is an experience that I shall all7ays cherish and remember. Councilman Britschgi moved that a letter be sent tothe Chamber of Commerce complimenting the City Beautif iciation Committee for the work they are doing, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. The City Attorney stated that there were two ordinances which should be considered. The one mentioned above and the other construction of driveway approach at street.grade at property line. This was followed by discussion after which Councilman Teiss moved introduction of ordinance requiring survey to adequately and accurately locate property lines in order to obtain a building permit, seconded by Councilman Spillers. This was followed by discussion after which the motion carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers offered introduction of ordinance requiring proper construction of driveway approach at street grade at property line, seconded by Councilman 77eiss and carried. The Planning Commission held lengthy discussion on the subject and feel this area can be developed as 6000 sq. ft. lots if some method of setting up a road pattern can be devised. Co mcilnan Spillers moved that.the Manning Commission's recommendation be approved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. This was followed by discussion. The City Attorney stated that this should be set for a public hearing. Councilman Spillers withdrew his motion and then moved to set this for a public hearing in two weeks, May 28th, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried. Councilman Spillers offered RESOLUTION 2037 FOR VARIANCE FOR ABOVE and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. This was followed by discussion in regard to fire restrictions. The motion carried on roll call with Councilman 'Neiss voting No. TRAFFIC COMIJITTEE RECOT•,TT,TENDED TdOVING BUS STOPS TO OPPOSITE SIDES OF INTERSECTIONS EL CAMINO REAL. It is the recommendation of the Traffic Committee th�it the present bus stops on .El Camino Real be moved to the following locations: On the West side of E1 Camino Real as follows: 1� From the Pdorth side of Jefferson to the South side, From the North side of Roosevelt to the South side, From the North side of Oakwood Drive to the South side.
