City Attorney stated bids for bonds would not be opened until the December 17th
meeting at which time resolution awarding contract to low bidder for the construction of building
could be adopted. Councilman Granger questioned that, inasmuch as three weeks must elapse before
decision will be reached regarding the sale of bonds, it might not be appropriate to readvertise
for bids in an effort to receive a better bid. He called attention to the fact that originally it
was thought the building could be built for $150,000 whereas low bid was in excess of 8204,000.
