This was in accordance with the Traffic Committee's recommendation. INTRODUCE ORDINANCE TO REZONE PORTION OF LOT 9, BLOCK I, W�ODSIDE ACRES N0. 1 TO C-1-H (1614 Hudson Street) . The Clerk r ead the title of the proposed ordinance . This was recommended by the Planning Commission. Councilman Spillers offered introduction of ordinance amending Ordinance No. 600 to rezone portion of Lot 9, Bloek Lettered r'I�, Woodside Acres, from R-2 District to C-1-H District, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. REQUEST EXTENSION SIDEWALK NOTICE, MICHEL PROPII3TY. The City Engineer stated that ttiis is the second requ est for an extension. The people are trying to sell the property and make the new property owners pay for the improvements to the si dewalk. This was followed by discussion after which the Committee recommended that they give a fifteen day extension to the original request for extension. Councilman Stou t maved that the work start witYiin fifteen days after the time limit is up on the original extension, seconded by Councilman Weiss. Councilman Granger was of the opinion that they should not give any extension of time. The City Attorney stated that they could grant the extansion of 15 days and still retain 3urisdiction of the matter. The motLon carried. LETTER FROM PARK AND RECREA�.PION COMMISSION REGARDING CONDITION OF BRIDGE, COMMNNIT� PARK. The Clerk read the letter wherein the Commission recommended that the necessary steps � be taken to relieve the present hazard. They are well aware of the possible expense involved, but they hope some temporary measures can be taken until a more perrnanent ' solution can be found.
