The Clerk read the title of the resolution. This was in <br /> accordance with the Traffic Committee's recommendation. The Clerk r ead the title of the proposed ordinance . This was <br /> recommended by the Planning Commission. Councilman Spillers offered introduction of <br /> ordinance amending Ordinance No. 600 to rezone portion of Lot 9, Bloek Lettered r'I�, <br /> Woodside Acres, from R-2 District to C-1-H District, seconded by Councilman Stout and <br /> carried. <br /> REQUEST EXTENSION SIDEWALK NOTICE, MICHEL PROPII3TY. The City Engineer stated that ttiis is <br /> the second requ est for an extension. The people are trying to sell the property and <br /> make the new property owners pay for the improvements to the si dewalk. This was <br /> followed by discussion after which the Committee recommended that they give a fifteen <br /> day extension to the original request for extension. Councilman Stou t maved that the <br /> work start witYiin fifteen days after the time limit is up on the original extension, <br /> seconded by Councilman Weiss. Councilman Granger was of the opinion that they should <br /> not give any extension of time. The City Attorney stated that they could grant the <br /> extansion of 15 days and still retain 3urisdiction of the matter. The motLon carried. <br /> LETTER FROM PARK AND RECREA�.PION COMMISSION REGARDING CONDITION OF BRIDGE, COMMNNIT� PARK. <br /> The Clerk read the letter wherein the Commission recommended that the necessary steps � <br /> be taken to relieve the present hazard. They are well aware of the possible expense <br /> involved, but they hope some temporary measures can be taken until a more perrnanent ' <br /> solution can be found.
