Councilman Granger moved to include in the ordinance; with regard to Sewer Rental rates, that the percent- age increase would not necessarily be included in any agreements made by the City, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried, Councilman Weiss voting no. Councilman Rosselli moved'adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 255. AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT WITH SEQUOIA HOSPITAL DISTRICT FOR NATER AND SEWERAGE SERVICE AGREEMENT, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried on roll call, Councilman Weiss voting no and Councilmen Spillers and Weymouth being noted absent. Councilman Rosselli moved to adopt RESOLUTIONNO. 2555 TRANSFERRING $4,000 FROM CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR FIRE STATION TO CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND APPROPRIATION FOR AJIAARINE HARBOR FINGER PIERS, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried on roll call, Councilmen Spillers and Weymouth being noted absent. Councilman Rosselli moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 2556 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MARINE HARBOR FLOATS, PHASE N0. 1; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AND, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried on roll call, Councilmen Spillers and Weymouth being noted absent. Councilman Rosselli moved introduction of an ordinance appropriating $4.,000 from Unappropriated Surplus of the Capital Projects Fund for the purpose of construction of wall and equipment shelter, Fire Station, and authorizing the expenditure of such sum for such purpose, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried. Councilman Herknermoved adoptien of RESOLUTION NO. 2557 COMMENDING WILLIAM RODGERS FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS PLANNING DIRECTOR, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried on roll call, Councilmen Spillers and Weymouth being noted absent. Syselbrecht, Police Captain Theodore Moudakas and Deputy City Clerk Vivian Holmquist. APPROVAL OF MINUTES, September 15th and September 22nd. Councilman Weiss moved that the minutes of September 22nd, Sequoia Hospital agreement, be amended so that they will indicate that he was opposed to the agreement and so stated for the reason that in effect they were guaranteeing the Hospital a five year period reduced rate because they would not be charged the 66 2/36 increase in rates. The motion lost for lack of a second. Councilman Granger moved that the minutes be approved as mailed, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call, Councilman Weiss voting No. CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION OF HIGHLANDS TERRITORY N0. 7 FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF SUPPLEMENTAL PROTESTS. The affidavit cf examiner of protests to proposed annexation of territory known as "Highlands Territory No. 7" to the City of Redwood City was ordered filed. Councilman Spillers moved that the public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried.
