Councilman Spillers <br />moved to authorize the City Clerk to accept the deed subject to the obtaining of a title policy accept- <br />able to the City, seconded by Councilman Weymouth. Councilman Weiss moved -to table this for one week, <br />seconded by Councilman Granger and carried, Councilmen Granger, Herkner, Weiss and Mayor Royer voting <br />yes, Councilmen Rosselli, Spillers and Weymouth voting no. <br />Mayor Royer left the meeting at 9:20 p. m. Councilman Resselli moved to appoint Councilman Herkner <br />Mayor pro -temp seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried. <br />Authorize City Clerk to accept grant deed for easement for storm drain system for Farm Hill No. 6, Sister of <br />St. Francis to City of Redwood City. Councilman Weymouth mored to authorize the City Clerk to actfept the <br />deed, seconded by Councilman Spillers. Councilman Weiss moved that this matter be tabled for one week, <br />seconded by Councilman Rosselli. The motion to table lost on roll call with Councilmen Granger, Herkner <br />Spillers and Weymouth voting no, Councilmen Rosselli and Weiss voting yes and Mayor Royer being noted <br />absent. <br />Councilman Weiss moved that the motion be amended that the Gleed be accepted on the condition that any and <br />all necessary annexation fees be paid. The motion lost for lack of a second. The original motion author- <br />izing the City Clerk to accept the deed carried on roll call with Councilman Weiss voting no and Mayor Royer <br />being noted absent. <br />PLANNING CQMMISSION REPORT ON COUNCIL RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO REZONE TATS 11 TO 23, BLOCK 6, WOman KNOLLS, <br />NORTHEASTERLY CORNER WOODSIDE ROAD AND ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS FROM R-3 TO C -1-H DISTRICT. Councilman Spillers <br />moved to set the matter for public hearing on October 20th, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF FINAL MAP OF PALM MANOR SUBDIVISION SUBJECT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br />1. Execution of standard agreement for improvements within the Subdivision. <br />2. Conveyance to the City of Redwood City of an easement for storm drainage purposed between Kentfield <br />Avenue and Sierrra Street and conveyance to the City of Redwood City of fee title to Lot A as designated <br />on the final map of said subdivision. <br />The City Engineer recommends the following conditions also be made a condition of the subdivision approval: <br />1. Furnishing of up-to-date City and County Assessors' reports, and payment by subdivider of any unpaid <br />assessments listed on these peports. <br />2. Payment of all charges due the City prior to recording of the final map. <br />3. Furnishing of necessary performance bonds, labor and material bonds, and insurance certificates. <br />Councilman Spillers moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2560 APPROVING AND ACCEPTING FINAL MAP OF PALM MANOR <br />SUBDIVISION, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; APPROVING AND ADOPTING PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVMENT THEREOFr, AND, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRU- <br />CTION <br />ONSTRU <br />CTION OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR SAID SUBDIVISION, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried on r oll call, Mayor <br />Royer being noted absent. <br />CLAIMS FOR hLLEGED INJURIES AND DAMAGES, MRS.
