<br />lication was ordered filed. There being no protests, written or oral, Councilman Herkner moved that the
<br />public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. Councilman Spillers moved
<br />adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2612 BEING THE RESOLUTION OF THE COITNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FINDING
<br />AND DETERMINING THAT PROTEST TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN UNIN-
<br />HABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "HIGHLANDS TERRITORY N0, 10" HAS NOT BEEN MADE BY OWNERS OF ONE-HALF OF THE
<br />VALUE OF SUCH TERRITORY AS SHOWN BY THE LAST EQUALIZED ASSESSMENT ROLL, NOR BY PUBLIC AND PRIVATE OWNERS
<br />EQUAL TO ONE-HALF OF THE VALUE OF SUCH TERRITORY AS DETERMINED BY SAID COUNCIL, seconded by Councilman
<br />Weiss and carried unanimously on roll call.
<br />Councilman Herkner moved introduction of an ordinance of the City of Redwood City approving the annex-
<br />ation to the City of Redwood City of certain uninhabited territory designated "Highlands Territory
<br />No. 10" and herein described, and herein annexing said territory to said City of Redwood City, seconded
<br />by Councilman Weiss and carried.
<br />Councilman Spillers moved to authorize the City Clerk to accept a grant deed from My Nin Wong and Iva
<br />Wong for sewer and water connection, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried.
<br />Councilman Rosselli moved to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 920, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 758, BEING THE
<br />TRAFFIC ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 106, ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS
<br />FOR LIMITED TRUCK TRAFFIC ROUTES AND PROVIDING PROCEDURES FOR ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR HAULING OF MATERx
<br />IAIS THEREON, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried unanimously on roll call. The affidavit of

<br />ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ,CASH BALANCE IN DESIGNATED FUNDS ON JUNE 30, 1958; APPROPRIATING FROM THE UNBUDGET-

<br />REPORT OF FINDINGS ON SUFFICIENCY CF "REFERENDUM PETITION". Following is the report submitted by the City
<br />Clerk:
<br />I, Ralph S. Dodge, Clerk of the City of Redwood City hereby certify as follows:
<br />1. That on the 1st day of December, 1958 at a regular Council meeting of the City of
<br />Redwobd"City, I received and accepted for filing the attached petition entitled "Referendum
<br />Petition" consisting of 25 sections:
<br />2. That I have examined the same together with and in accordance with the Charter of
<br />of the City of Redwood City, the General Laws of the State of California and the Constitution
<br />of the State of California;
<br />3• That in connection with the above mentioned examination, I have referred to and exam-
<br />ined the records of registration of voters of Redwood City and determined that there was a total
<br />of 21,101 registered voters of the City of Redwood City at the time bf the filing of said
<br />petition;
