136 <br />Councilman Spillers offered RESOLUTION 2390 ALLOCATING FUNDS RECEIVED BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR, CONSTRU. <br />CTION OF STORM DRAINAGE FACILITIES IN THE KENTFIELD-PALM-VALOTA AREA and moved its adoption, seconded by <br />Councilman Weymouth and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING CITY AUDITCRIS JANUARY FINANCIAL REPORT IN RELATION TO 1958-59 BUDGET (COUNCILMAN WEISS). <br />Councilman Weiss moved that the City Manager be requested to submit a detailed report on funds (600, 700 01 <br />and 900 accounts) by the first of March on the January, expenditurds, seconded by Councilman Herkner and rJ <br />carried. <br />LETTER FROM CITY ENGINEER REGARDING ABANDONMENT OF PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT, LOT 12 BLOCK 1, RCBELET SUBDIVISION. <br />Councilman Spillers moved approval of the City Engineerts recommendation and referred the matter to the <br />City Auditor and the City Attorney for the necessary procedure, seconded by Councilman Stant and carried. 01. <br />LETTER FROM L. L. & M. WHITE, 1965 ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS, REGARDING FLOOD CONDITIONS. Councilman Granger moved <br />that they notify the City of Woodside telling them that this has come to the attention of the City and <br />ask that their City Engineer contact our City Engineer to see if anything could be done, seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Stout and carried. Councilman Weiss moved that a progress report be submitted in three weeks <br />(March 10th) by the City Engineer and the City Manager, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br />LETTER FRCM LOCAL BANKS REDUCING INTEREST RATES ON PUBLIC TIME DEPOSITS EFFECTIVE MAY 11 1958. No Council action <br />Ras necessary. <br />LETTER FROM LA SOCIETE DES HOMMES ET 8 CHEVAUX REGARDING ANNUAL QUEEN CF INDUSTRY PAGEANT. Councilman Stout moved <br />approval of the request and requested that they register with the Police Department, seconded by Councilman <br />Granger and carried. <br />Councilman Weymouth offered RESOLUTION 2391 TRANSFERRING AND APPROPRSATING $325 FROM UNBUDGETED UNAPPROPRIATED <br />RESERVE OF GENERAL FUND TO THE PARK DEPARTMENT FCR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES and moved its adoption, seconded <br />by Councilman Stout and carried unanimously on roll call. %"a <br />Councilman Weymouth offered introduction of an ordinance providing for the suspension of Ordinance No. 846 to <br />the allocation of certain revenues of the City, establishment of maximum tax rate, and submission of a <br />measure at the next municipal. election regarding said matters, -seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />The Mayor called attention to the study meeting on Wednesday evening and also the Youth Day activities which will <br />commence at 10 a.m. an Wednesday. <br />LETTER FROM WESTERN NEPHROSIS SOCIETY, INC., REQUESTING PERMISSION TO CONDUCT A FUND-RAISING DRIVE DURING MARCH, <br />1958. The request was granted and they were to be notified to contact the Police Department for a permit <br />and asked to hold their campaign in April <br />Councilman Stout referred to the Glenwood Avenue sub -standard street. City City Engineer was allsked to make -,a re- <br />port at the Wednesday night study meeting. <br />Councilman Weiss referred to the report from the City Manager on the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenace District and <br />Agreement, January 13th minutes. The City Manager was asked to make a report next week. <br />Councilman Weiss referred to the November 25th minutes with regard to the sewer connection at 3508 Altamont <br />Way and inquired as to the present status of same. <br />Councilman Herkner reported that the new incinerator was in working order. <br />Claims 24941 through 25092, totaling $63,675.12, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Spillers, seconded by <br />Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />Councilman Stout moved that the meeting be adjourned to Monday, February 24th, at 8:00 p.m., seconded by Council- <br />man Spillers and carried.
