139 <br />TRAFFIC COMMITTEE RECOMMEND ARTERIAL STOPS ON 17TH AVENUE AT EACH OF ITS INTERSECTIONS WITH PAGE STREET, <br />Councilman Spillers moved approval of the recommendation and referred the matter to the City Attorney <br />for the proper ordinance, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br />The Mayor called attention to the study meeting Wednesday night (February, 26th) wherein they would take up <br />the matter of re -numbering survey and also there would be a committee of Doctors there to discuss the <br />fluoridation problem. <br />Councilman Spillers moved to give consideration for office help for the Planning Director, seconded by <br />Councilman Weiss and carried. <br />Councilman Weiss moved that the Planning Commission be requested to give the under pass or overpass at <br />Whipple or Hopkins crossings consideration•at the earliest possible date, seconded by Councilman Stout <br />and carried. <br />LIBRARY BOARD REQUEST CONSIDERATION OF A PROPOSED ORDINANCE MAKING IT A MISDEMEANOR NOT TO RETURN BOOKS TO <br />THE LIBRARY. Kreiss and Senior Stenographer Clerk Vivian Holmquist. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Meetings of February 17th and 24th. Councilman Stout moved approval of the minutes as <br />mailed, seconded by Councilman Spillers. Councilman Weiss asked that the minutes of February 24th be <br />corrected as follows: Page 1, APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION GRANTING USE PERMIT TO LINK AND SCHELLACI - <br />change to read: ....... and the type, size, etc. of sign to be approved by the Planning Commission. <br />Page'2, second item - change to read: ......City Manager submit a financial report on the $976,000 bond <br />issue. Page 3, 5th paragraph - change to read: Councilman Weiss moved that the Planning Co-mi.ssion <br />be requested to give the underpass or overpass at Whipple or Hopkins crossings consideration at the <br />earliest possible date,......
