Councilman Granger moved that the City A ttorney be authorized to bring <br />in the proper resolution, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />COMMITTEE REPORT REGARDING INCREASE IN RATES ON BUS LINE. Councilman Herkner reported that the only change was <br />to eliminate the commute tickets for adults. It was his opinion that they should take the same action as <br />.in the previous case. Councilman Herkner moved that the report be accepted and the newspaper be asked to <br />publicize the matter, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried. <br />The Mayor called attention to the study meeting on Wednesday night wherein they would, take up the matter of the <br />reservoir and also the Streets and Highway Plan. <br />Councilman Granger was of the opinion that consideration should be given at budget study time of the possible in— <br />crease in salary to retired personnel of the Cityp Councilman Granger moved that this be placed on the agenda <br />for 30 days, the City Auditor to get further information, seconded by Councilman Stoat and carried. <br />The Mayor asked the City Manager to get the information from Assemblyman Britschgi regarding small boat harbors. <br />Councilman Weiss referred to the matter of the Ideal Cement Company area being given consideration to possible <br />annexation to the City. Councilman Herkner asked that consideration be given to sewer system out Harbor <br />Boulevard and also taking care of the Marine Harbor, Councilman Herkner moved that the City Manager start <br />studies to come up with a tentative cost of installing or extending our sewer lines to service the area <br />under discussion,, seconded by Councilman Weiss whd asked, that they include in the motion that they annex <br />the area to the City. Mr. Rodgers as ked that this be referred to the Planning Commission. Councilman <br />Herkner changed his motion that this be referred to the Planning Commission, seconded by Councilman Weiss. <br />After some discussion Councilman Herkner withdrew his motion. <br />Councilman Herkner moved that t1joy investigate the matter of sewer lines out Harbor Boulevard. Councilman <br />Herkner changed his motion that the matter of sewers along Harbor Boulevard be referred to the City Manager, <br />seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. # <br />Councilman Weiss moved that the Planning Commission, together with the Chamber of Commerce, study the matter <br />of the annexation of Industrial areas along Harbor Boulevard, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br />Claims 25093 through 25231, totaling $11,165.89, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Stout,<sseconded by <br />Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />Councilman Spillers moved that the meeting be adjourned to March 10th at 8:00 p.m., seconded by Councilman Herkner <br />and carried. Affidavits of posting, publication and mailing <br />were ordered filed. There were seven letters of protest and two oral protests. Councilman Spillers moved <br />that the public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. Councilman. Spillers offered <br />
