T. Haas Co., seconded by Council- <br />man Stout and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF HIGHLANDS TERRITORY NO, 9. The affidavit of publication was order- <br />ed filed. There being no protests., oral or written.. Councilman Spillers moved that the public hearing <br />be closed# seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br />Councilman Herkner offered RESOLUTION 2446 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FINDING AND <br />DETER2dINING THAT PROTEST LV THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDI"OCD CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br />TERRITORY DESIGNATED "HIGHLANDS TERRITORY NO. 9" HAS NOT BEEN MADE BY OWNERS OF ONE-HALF OF THE V ALUE <br />OF SUCH TERRITORY AS SHOWN BY THE LAST EQUALIZED ASSESSMENT ROLL, NOXI BY PUBLIC AND PRIVATE OWNERS EQUAL <br />TO ONE-HALF OF THE VALUE OF SUCH TERRITORY and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Stout and <br />carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Spillers offered introduction of an ordinance of the City of Redwood City approving the <br />annexation to the City of Redwood City of certain uninhabited territory designated "Highlands Territory <br />No. 901 describing said territory$ and annexing said territory to said City of Redwood City$ seconded <br />by Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />PROGRESS REPORT BY C. B. CURRIE ON PARKING LOP TT- Councilman Spillers moved to accept the report and <br />ordered the letter filed (City Clerk's file - 12. PARKING LOT N0. 3), seconded by Councilman Herkner. <br />Councilman Granger requested that each member of the Council be furnished a copy of this report. The <br />motion carried. <br />Councilman Herkner moved that the City Attorney be requested to check into the legality of increasing <br />the size of the Parking District., seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br />PERSONAL APPEARANCE$ VINCENT RAMBO PRESENTATION REGARDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 600. Councilman Herkner <br />moved that the letter of Mr. Rambo be discussed at a study meeting in the very near future for explor- <br />ationg.t Councilman Herkner changed his motion that the City Manager be instructed to place this matter <br />in the budgets seconded by Councilman Spillers. Councilman Herkner changed his motion that they instruct <br />the City Manager to proceed and the City Attorney be instructed to bring in the proper resolution in <br />the event a transfer of funds is necessary., seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />Councilman Spillers offered RESOLUTION 2407 APPROVING AND ACCEPTING FINAL MAP OF EATON MANOR SUBDIVISION., <br />REDWOOD CITY., CALIFORNIA, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AUNT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR SAID SUBDIVISION and moved its adoptions seconded <br />by Councilman Weiss and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Herkner offered RESOLUTION 2108 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION Or WATER RE- <br />SERVOIRS AND APPURTENANCES9 INCLUDING EXCAVATION AND SITE WORKS SUPPLY MAINS AND DRAIN LINE TO SERVE <br />
