<br />C -1-H DISTRICT. Councilman Herkner moved to set this for a public hearing on March 24th, a copy of the
<br />Planning Comission's recommendation to be furnished to the Council, seconded by Councilman Spillers and
<br />carried.
<br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL CF THE FINAL MAP OF STEVEN TRACT. After considerable discussions Coun-
<br />cilman Herkner moved approval of the final map. The motion was withdrawn. Councilman Herkner offered
<br />RESOLUTION 2414 APPROVING AND ACCEPTING FINAL MAP OF STEVEN TRACT SUBDIVISION, REI�TOCA CITY, CALIFORNIA,
<br />SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITICNS; APPROVING AND ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT THEREOF;
<br />AND, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION CF I11TROVEMENTS FOR SAID SUB-
<br />DIVISION and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried on roll call with Councilman Stout,
<br />Weymouth and Mayor Royer being noted absent.
<br />Claims 25232 through 25355, totaling $91,459.15, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Herkner, seconded by
<br />Councilman Weiss and carried.
<br />Councilman Herkner offered a RESOLUTION IN MEMORIUM CF LOUIS C. CHRISTENSEN, deceased, a former Mayor and Council-
<br />man of this City, and adjourned the meeting to Monday, March 24th, at 8:00 po m., seconded by Councilman
<br />Spillers and carried on roll call with Councilmen Stout and Weymouth and Mayor Royer being noted absent.

<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Floyd D,. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, Louis Weiss, Ray
<br />Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and Deputy Clerk Vivian Holmquist. Councilmen Robert V. Spillers and Hiram
<br />S. Stout were noted absent. Also present were City Manager E. A. Rolison, City Attorney Robert J. Costello,
<br />City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, Water Superintendent H. L. Winter, Planning Director William Rodgers, Building
<br />Inspector S. H. Kreiss, Recreation Director Alfred Morton, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Police Chief William
<br />Faulstich,-Police Lieutenant Joel Mansfield, Planning Commissioner Carl Sjoberg and Recreation Commissioner
<br />William Hanley.
<br />PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANNING COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATION TO REZONE LOTS 12 THROUGH 15, BLOCK 2, JEFFERSON -A CRSS,
<br />FROM R-1 AND R-2 to R -3-G. The notice of mailing was ordered filed. After a short discussion Councilman
<br />Veymouth moved that the public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. Councilman
<br />Weymouth moved to condur in the Planning Commission's recommendation, and the City Attorney was authorized
<br />to prepare the necessary ordinance, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried.

<br />LEE TRACT, FROM R-2 AND C -1-H TO C -1-H DISTRICT (46 Nueva). The notice of mailing was ordered filed. M.
<br />Berni, 74 Nueva Avenue, did not object to apartments and/or duplexes but he did object to commercial zoning
<br />in the area.
