The motion was changed to accept the report and show that they concurred with the report completelys however$ there should be a flagman at the Broadway signal* After further discussion the motion was changed to concur with t1B report but to request due consideration of the flagman at the Broadway crossings and the Council to hold a study meeting. UTILITIES - PUBLIC UTILITIES C M-USSION) CITY ATTORNEY REPORT ON STATUS OF SPRUCE STREET PLAN LINES, The City Attorney made an oral report and sug- gested'that if they wished to proceed with the plan lines that the matter be set for a public hearing. The Planning Commission recommended that the Council take affirmative action on the Spruce Street plan lines at its earliest convenience. Councilman H&kner moved that a public hearing be held on February 10th, in the meantime the City Manager was instructed to get in touch with the Highway Commission and see what their recommendation is and get some up-to-date informationy seconded by Councilman Granger* The motion was changed to set the public hearing for February 17ths the Council to decide at a later date what street the plan lines were to be heard on. Councilman Her-kner withdrew his motion and then moved that the City Manager contact the Highway Commission and get the latest up-to-date information as soon as possible so the Council could hold a study meeting to decide on their action, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried.
