Councilman Weiss moved approval of acquisition of the easement at subdividerts expensep- <br />and that the City Manager and City Attorney negotiate an agreement with the interested parties for <br />advance of cost. MULLER was derLied on motion of Councilman Weiss and referred to the <br />insurance carrier, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />REQUEST OF MRS. ETHEL M. KRAEMER TO PURCHASE CITY OWNED LOT (Portion of Lot 9, Range E. Mezesville). City <br />Manager Neal recommends that property be appraised by City Assessor and advertize property for sale <br />at a minimum price of 90% of the appraised value plus publication and administrative expenses. Council- <br />man Spillers moved approval of the recommendation, seconded. by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />CITY TITLE COMPANY REQUEST FOR PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT PLANTER BOX IN SIDEWALK AREA NEXT TO NEW BUILDING. After <br />some consideration of Traffic Bureau and Planning Commission r6commendations, Councilman Weymouth moved <br />that the City Manager meet with City Title representative and work out a sa tisfactory solution, second- <br />ed by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />PROMMOFFICIAL PLAN LINES FOR INTERN STREET BETWEEN UPLAND AND CANYON ROADS. Councilman Rosselli moved <br />that July 7, 1958 be set for public hearing, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />PENINSULA TRANSIT LINES. Letters from John P. Demeter and the Chamber of Commerce regarding the status of <br />the local bus lines, were read by the City Manager. Inasmuch as the problem involved cities other than <br />Redwood City, it was thought necessary that an attempt be made to meet with Palo Alto, Menlo Park and <br />San Carlos to discuss the matter. Councilman Rosselli moved that City Manager Neal be authorized to <br />call such a meeting, all members of the City Council to attend if possible.
