<br />ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,* seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried,
<br />CLAIMS 26045 to 26118 totaling $52,080.84 were approved on motion of Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilman
<br />Herkner and carried.
<br />Delivery of $500,000 water reservoir bonds to Bank of America was reported by City Treasurer.
<br />Councilman Rosselli requested the City Manager to look into a close-out sale permit granted to a firm on Broad01 1

<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, John Rosselli,
<br />Robert V. Spillers, Louis Weiss, Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Also
<br />present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, Police
<br />Chief William Faulstich, Police Captain Theodore Moudakas, Planning.Director William Rodgers, Water Super-
<br />intendent H. L. Winter, Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss, Engineering Associate A rthur U. Esekelin, City
<br />Collector Paul E. Perrin, and Deputy City Clerk Vivian Holmquist.
<br />Swearing in Ceremony and Oath of Office was administered by City Clerk Dodge to 29,Police Reserve Officers.

<br />PUBLIC HEARING, CLINTON STREET CULVERT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT. The affidavits of posting, mailing and publishing
<br />notice of hearing were ordered filed. A petition was received with 20 property owners protesting and ask-
<br />ing that the City pay the entire cost of the culvert. After discussion, Councilman Spille-s moved that
<br />the 'public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried.
<br />Councilman Spillers moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2497 ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND OVERRULING PROTESTS,
<br />CLINTON STREET CULVERT, Seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried unanimously on roll call,
