AMENDING 905 ARTICLE II, ORDINANCE NO. 898, BEING THE MARINE HARBOR ORDINANCE, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION TO PROVIDE FOR LIMITSOF LENGTH AND WEIGHT OF BOATS USING THE LAUNCHING RAMP IN THE RMTODD CITY I'&RINE HARBOR, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. RECOMMENDATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION (meeting of May 27th) TO NAME FRONTAGE ROAD SOUTHWESTERLY OF BAYSHORE HIGH- WAY BETWEEN SECOND AVENUE AND MARSH ROAD, TO ROLISON ROAD IN HONOR OF TETE FORMER CITY MANAGER WHO SERVED THE CITY WELL FROM 1929 TO 1936 AND FROM 1947 TO 1958. Councilman Weymouth moved to approve the recommendation and directed the City Attorney to prepare appropriate legislation, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. Councilman Herkner moved to set the matter for public hearing on July 21st, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried. PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION TO ABANDON TRIANGULAR PARK IN BLACK BOUNDED BY ANAMOR,, KENTUCKY, MASSACHUSETTS, CONNECTICUT AND HAMPTON STREETS. Councilman Weiss moved to direct the City Manager to arrange for disposition of pr6perty to be abandoned with adjoining property owners, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. APPLICATION FOR CLOSE-OUT SALE; PENINSULA TRADING POST, 935 MAIN STREET. Councilman Weymouth moved that the per- mit be granted in accordance with the ordinance, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried. Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2499 AUTHORIZING RELEASE OF QUITCLAIM OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF REDWOCD CITY TO CITY TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH FILING AND RECORDING OF PROPOSED NEWELL , PARK SUBDIVISION, Seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. Councilman Weymouth moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2500 APPROVING AND ACCEPTING FINAL MAP OF NEWELL PARK SUBDIVISION, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; APPROVING AND ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT THEREOF; AND, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRU- CTION OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR SAID SUBDIVISION,. seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried on roll call, Coun- cilman Spillers being noted absent. City Engineer recommends that improvements in FARM HILL NO. 3 be accepted subject to the following: (1) City Council approval of accepting cash deposit to cover tree planting. (2) One year guarantee by the developer against defects in materials and workmanship. () Payment of all engineering and inspection charges due the City before release of the performance bond. Councilman Rosselli moved approval of the recommendation to accept the improvements subject to the conditions, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. City Engineer Jain recommends that Major City Street Project No. 73, Alameda de las Pirlgas, Massachusetts Avenue to Fernside Street, be accepted Subject to payment of all accounts owed the City, and a one year guarantee against defects in workmanship and materials. Councilman Weymouth moved approval of the City Engineer's recommendation which was concurred in by the City Manager, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried.
