<br />ON BALL CALL the f ollowing were noted present: Councilmen Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, Robert Ve
<br />Spillers, Louis Weiss, Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Councilman
<br />John Se Rosselli was noted absent due to a death in the family. Also present were City Manager J. Ee
<br />Neal, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, Water Superintendent He L.
<br />Winter, Police Chief William Faulstich, Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss, Planning Director William
<br />Rodgers and Deputy City_ Clerk Vivian Holmquist.
<br />ADOPT ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 600, THE ZONDU ORDINANCE, TO REZONE LOTS 11 TO 13 INCLUSIVE, BLOCK
<br />6, WOODACRE KNOLLS, BEING THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF WOODSIDE ROAD AND ALAMIDA DE LAS PULGAS FROM R-3
<br />DISTRICT TO C -1—H DISTRICT. Councilman Granger moved to continue this matter on the agenda for one
<br />week (July 21st), seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried, Councilman Rosselli being noted absent.
<br />REQUEST CF MR. MY NIN FOR WATER C MECTION TO LOT 1, UNRECORDED RESUBDIVISION CF LOTS 18 aND 19, JOHNSON
<br />SUBDIVISION (Upland Road). Councilman Weymouth moved to grant the connection subject to the following
<br />conditions:
<br />le Mr. Wong's lot be annexed to the City.
<br />2. Mr. Wong to construct approximately 100 feet of six inch sanitary sewers and one
<br />manhole in Upland Road,
<br />3. Mr. Wong to dedicate to the County of San Mateo a 27 foot strip along the entire
<br />frontage of his lot, adjacent to his property. (This portion of Upland Road is
<br />now undedicatede)
<br />4e Mr. Wong agree, in writing, that he will bear his fair proportion of the cost of
<br />a new six inch water main at such time as it becomes necessary for adequate fire
<br />protection and warter supply when and if an assessment district is formed or other
<br />financial method of installation is established.
<br />. The motion was seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried.
<br />PETITION FOR STREET IMPROVMENTS ON PINE STREET BETPM STAMBAUGH STREET AND oortarx RANCH LINE (easterly
<br />limits of street). After the reading of the petition, Councilman Granger moved that the City Manager
<br />proceed with the calling of bids. It was explained to Councilman Granger that a Resolution of Pre—
<br />liminary Determination had to be adopted before the call for bids. Councilman Granger changed his
<br />motion that the City Manager and City Engineer be authorized to proceed, seconded by Councilman Spillers
<br />and carried.
<br />PLANNING COMMISSS ION RECOMMENDATION ON REZONING OF ALL OF LOTS 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, BLOCK 2, AND THE SOUTH—
